We are ecstatic to announce that some of our prints, gift wrap and notebooks are being showcased for a month in the amazing global swedish bed shop, Hästens!
Hästens have beautiful, bold, hand-made, blue and white checked beds and accessories that are incredibly comfortable and extremely popular in Sweden. Here in London, they wanted to illustrate how despite the bold design of their beds, they are completely versatile and can fit in seamlessly into any interior.
They therefore hired two amazing interior designers; GommStudio and CorbieDesigns to partner up and create a beautiful bedroom surrounding one of their beds - and this is what they did, it was absolutely gorgeous!
We were extremely privileged to have been asked to take part in such a beautiful event, in the heart of london, just by Oxford Circus. The interior created by GommStudio and CorbieDesigns is timeless with a hint of French Art Deco which was a perfect concept for us as it also conveys how versatile our products are.
Above are some images from the launch night that took place last night. It was full of amazing designers and magazine editors such as The World of Interiors.
Our products will be in the shop until September, so if you are in the area, please pop in to have a look!

Earlier in the month SkandiDesign were thrilled to join several other fantastic companies in being part of a Xmas in July press event, organised by HillgatePR.
It was located in the heart of Soho in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and gorgeous Victorian patterned cornices.
It was an amazing opportunity for us to showcase our prints and our new stationery range to the press. Being an online shop, it is always very exciting when we are offered the opportunity to be face-to-face with the public, we always appreciate every little bit of feedback that we get!
Our full stationery range will be launching soon... Watch this space!
Thank you very much to everyone who stopped to see us at Pulse London, it was so lovely to meet you all!

Inspiration is usually found whilst walking around, travelling, meeting inspirational people, researching or in completely unexpected circumstances. As soon as I have this little flash of excitement, I quickly grab my camera or sketchbook to record it. I then pop back to my home studio to design it and put the product into production....
